Highsnobiety

Back in high school, Jalen Green was already in love with Stone Island. Did he think he'd be the face of Stone Island? Only in dreams.

"Being the face of Stone Island means everything," he tells Highsnobiety. "I’ve always dreamed of having a feature or campaign. To be aligned with a brand I grew up seeing/wanting to be a part of, it’s been an honor."

Green debuted as one of the main men of Stone Island Spring/Summer 2025 in early January, wearing the seasonal iteration of the Mussola Gommata jacket, a resin-coated padded cotton jacket that's a neatly singular example of Stone Island's archetypal technical militaria.

In the new imagery, premiered by Highsnobiety, Green is clad in the Membrana 3L, a breathable shell made useful through a water-repelling triple-layer membrane and made expressive through garment dye.

These specific garments reflect a more holistic part of Green's Stone Island interest, who innately appreciated the "fashion-forward" nature and "innovative feel" of Stone Island from a young age. Again, the man was a Stone Island enjoyer in high school.

But Green is also drawn to the more tactile side of Stone Island. I don't mean handfeel alone — though that certainly doesn't hurt — but the intelligent cut of the clothes, how the seams wrap the wearer's form and the useful fabrics only improve with age.

"I know when something works by the way it fits," Green says. "I know when something works when I get that feeling, the feeling of effortless[ness] and the fit just naturally going with my vibe. It just depends on how I’m feeling or what occasion I'm dressing up for."

Green is a discerning dresser who accurately, if modestly, describes his personal style as "expressive."

Accurate, because Green frequently wears a mélange of vivid cropped tops, explosive graphic sets, and flowing trousers — he's always looking for pants "with more length on the bottom," not an easy ask for someone who's 6'4'. Modest, because when there's an entire genre of TikTok video dedicated to aping your style, you've become a singular stylistic entity.

"I want to be perceived as someone who consistently pushes fashion forward on and off the court," says Green. Mission accomplished.
