Double Tap to Zoom

After keeping fans waiting for 10 years, Jay Electronica finally dropped his long-awaited debut album, A Written Testimony, on Friday. Now the project is making headlines for a completely different reason: its cover art features none other than Beyoncé's pool.

The record is very much a Roc Nation family affair, with JAY-Z featuring on eight of its ten tracks. The Twitter account AintNoJigga, which some fans believe is run by someone closely connected to Jay-Z, revealed that Bey not only owns the pool depicted in the album’s artwork, but that she was also the one who took the photo of it.

Early on some fans had speculated it's actually a painting rather than a photograph, highlighting what appears to brush strokes and perceived inconsistencies in the reflection, but this theory has since been debunked.
