The Prettiest Jordan 4 of the Year Has Serious Flower Power
2024 was quite literally the year of the Air Jordan 4, as Nike unleashed several big releases like the immaculate "White Thunder" pairs and even the all-new, skate-ish Jordan 4 RM. For 2025, which is also the Jordan Brand's 40th birthday, the Jordan 4 sneaker is still coming with heat.
But first, it's cooling down with this ice-old "Aluminum" blue iteration.
First looks at the Air Jordan 4 "Aluminum" sneaker has arrived, and quite frankly, it looks nothing like the early mockups. It's better, actually.
Retailer images of the shoe reveal the Jordan 4 with a good kind of blues. The traditionally smooth uppers get decorated in this blue-tinted white, while Nike adds a few drips of "Oil Green" around the shoe's famous Air sole.
At the same time, the bolder pastel blues, as previously seen on the high-top Dunks and Jordan 1 Low, swoop in and hit on the Jordan 4's most unmistakable features, like the "Wings" and just beneath the netted cage (it also strikes that incredibly plush collar, too).
Most notably, there are these floral patches in full bloom on the "Aluminum" AJ4's shoelaces. They look removable, allowing fans to fully embrace all the sneaker's blue beauty. But IDK, I kind of dig the flower power vibes.
The Air Jordan 4 "Aluminum" sneaker is said to launch on May 3, just a couple of weeks from Mother's Day. A little hint in case you know of any sneaker-loving mothers who deserve their flowers.
Okay, but maybe flowery Jordan 4s aren't your or your mom's thing. Don't worry. Nike has plenty more great Jordan 4 drops lined up for the year, like the reborn "White Cement" 4s and a brand-new Nigel Sylvester team-up.
