Editor’s Notes: Russell Westbrook’s second on-court signature sneaker, the Why Not Zer0.2, has been unveiled by Jordan Brand last week, and its inaugural colorway is slated to make its debut this weekend in full family sizing.

The model’s first colorway is dubbed “Future History” and was inspired by the Oklahoma City Thunder player's youth. The sneaker is also meant as an ode to today’s youth, who will become our future leaders.

Special design features include a debossed quarter on the tongue with hidden "Why Not" logos, a nod to bowling — Westbrook’s favorite off-court activity — and a size tag on the outsole rather than inside the shoe.

Also, Highsnobiety was on-site to capture shots at the sneaker’s exclusive launch in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. Check out images from the launch party and the sneaker above.
