Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we've taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.

Today, we take a look at Junya Watanabe's new collaboration with New Balance, as the brand's eYe imprint has revitalized the BB480. The BB480 is a somewhat forgotten court sneaker from the '80s, and similar to the way it reintroduced the 550, it appears New Balance is looking to bring back the silhouette in a big way.

In other sneaker news, Nike draws from the "Shattered Backboard" series for an anticipated Air Jordan 1 colorway, while the '90s-flavored Air Max Tailwind 4 has just arrived with striking hi-vis reflective accents.

All the runners out there should check out Diadora's feathery new silhouette, the Equipe Corsa, an ultra lightweight running shoe inspired by the brand's first-ever runner.

Read on to get the latest info about the Junya Watanabe x New Balance BB480 and more.

Where to Buy: SSENSE

Editor’s Notes: eYe Junya Watanabe has teamed up with New Balance to breath new life into one of the sportswear brand's '80s court sneakers, the BB480. Here showcased in low-top form, the shoe boasts a color-blocked white and black look, predominantly constructed from leather. To mark the collaboration, Junya Watanabe branding appears on the heel and insole. Expect more brands to rework the BB480 in a similar manner to the recent New Balance 550 collabs.

Air Jordan 1 High OG "Electro Orange"

Editor’s Notes: Nike appears to channel the beloved “Shattered Backboard” series with the "Electro Orange" Air Jordan 1. A part of the Summer 2021 Jordan Brand lineup, the sneaker finds touches of orange playing complement to a primarily white and black makeup. Nike has yet to share release details for the anticipated Air Jordan 1, but early reports suggest it will arrive on July 17 for $170.

Diadora Equipe Corsa

Editor’s Notes: The Equipe Corsa is an all-new running shoe from Diadora, one that pays tribute to the brand's first-ever runner from the 1970s. Made for quick workouts and races, the sneaker weighs in at a feathery 7.4 ounces, as the upper incorporates a semi-sheer nylon air mesh and microfiber PU. According to Diadora, the Equipe Corsa is ideal for "light runners who are very fast on their feet."
