Justin Bieber Takes a Page From the Kanye West Style Book
There's no doubt that Justin Bieber has always had an interesting sense of fashion. He's had some major memorable moments from his days as a teenage pop star when he sported all-things purple, to the ultimate scum-bro looks in hotel slippers and Vetements hoodies. But over the past couple of months, Bieber's style evolution seems to have been inspired by another big star: Kanye West.
If you're a Bieber fan, you may remember that the singer was the face of one of Balenciaga's campaigns earlier this year. Since then, Justin has been sporting the label at various events, including during his performance at the Met Gala. Of course, Ye has also been pushing the Demna Gvasalia-led label, wearing it both throughout his DONDA listening events as well as day-to-day.
Last week, Bieber joined West for his Sunday Service performance (Ye disappointingly also invited Marilyn Manson) and the whole choir – including Biebz and Ye – wore Balenciaga's polarizing Croc boots in the black colorway.
Seemingly the two have built up quite the friendship over the past few months because just yesterday Bieber was spotted in a pair of Kanye's most talked-about Yeezy silhouettes yet: the NSTLD Boots.
The shoes have caused a divide amongst fans, with many loving the experimental direction that adidas and YEEZY have gone in, whereas others are just looking for the classic sneakers. Clearly, Bieber is part of the former.
Pairing the statement boots with a pair of oversized Heron Preston x Calvin Klein canvas trousers as well as a sleek sweater from the same CK collaboration, both of which you can cop here and here (Bieber was once the face for Calvin Klein, #NeverForget!) and some sleek shades, the fit is straight out of Kanye's book.
Of course, we can't forget about Hailey Bieber who sported a bag from Bottega Veneta as well as a pair of Nike Dunks. The couple oozes style inspo, even on their days off.
Bieber might be influenced by Kanye, but we can't forget he's been pulling fits since his "Baby" era. Perhaps the next evolution we'll see is Ye rocking Drew House? You heard it here first.
