Justin Bieber is asking fans for support as he works through some mental health challenges. The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to update his followers in the hope that it might resonate. He wrote, “Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird.”

Bieber remains upbeat, however, telling fans “I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me.”

The artist has been candid about his struggles with depression in the past. Back in 2016 he let his followers know that he would be pulling back from meet-and-greets due to the toll it was taking on him “mentally and emotionally.” In 2015 he told NME, “I’m struggling just to get through the days... You get lonely, you know, when you’re on the road. People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don’t know the other side. This life can rip you apart.”
