Kali Uchis’ EP Just Dropped & It's Giving Fans Life
Kali Uchis' To Feel Alive EP dropped today and, as expected, it's hitting hard in the "isolation era." Composed of demos Uchis recorded in her bedroom, To Feel Alive serves as the much-anticipated precursor to her forthcoming album.
The NSFW cover artwork, melancholy R&B vibes, and devastating lyricism are resonating with fans in isolation.

The Colombian-American singer released her debut album, Isolation, back in 2018. She then released a standalone single ("Solita") the following year and has appeared on tracks by Kaytranada, Thundercat, Little Dragon, and Free Nationals.
To Feel Alive is an intimate and personal project that touches on sexuality, her ouroboros-like relationship to her own work, and the experience of isolating as the world outside is radically changing.
At the beginning of April, she took to Instagram to tell fans, “can’t give you my album yet, but i recorded some demos in my room for u.” Needless to say, fans are loving the results.
