Yesterday, Jimmy Kimmel announced on Twitter that Kanye West will be joining him on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Thursday. Considering the pair have a tumultuous past, this interview will for sure be entertaining viewing — potentially more so than your average conversation with the G.O.O.D Music mogul.

The feud between Kimmel and West kicked off in 2013, when the late night show host recreated an interview between West and BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe using children (watch below). The sketch prompted the rapper to embark on an expletive-ridden Twitter rampage, calling Kimmel a "manipulative media mutherfucker," and asking whether he "should do a spoof about [Kimmel's] face or [Kimmel] fucking Ben Affleck." (He apologized to Affleck in the tweet's hashtag).

The feud was eventually squashed and West has since appeared on the show — albeit, most of that conversation revolved around West monologuing about creativity while Kimmel kept quiet, but it's a start.
