What We’re Saying: You’re gonna run till the sun goes down in these.

Karhu, the underrated Finnish sportswear brand that has consistently brought us solid lifestyle sneakers, has now dropped an all-new performance sneaker called the Ikoni. The sneaker, which is part of a “Sun Run” pack that celebrates the longest day of the year in Scandinavia (the summer solstice from June 19 to 21), is designed to be a high-cushion, all-day running shoe.

The Karhu Ikoni arrives in a sleek white, yellow, and blue colorway — the national colors of Finland and Sweden. It arrives alongside a range of apparel, which follows the same color scheme.

Karhu is set to release the sneaker on June 17 at Fleet Feet in the US, Karhu’s own website, as well as a selection of European retailers. Stay tuned for more information.
