Kendrick Lamar has reportedly finished a new rock-influenced album. This will be his first solo album since the Pulitzer Prize-winning DAMN, which dropped in 2017.

Billboard columnist and former editorial director, Bill Werde, took to Twitter this weekend to share some intel. He said several industry insiders have indicated that Lamar's next album is finally done and it's "pulling in more rock sounds." Read the full statement below.

In a follow-up tweet, Werde clarifies that “just because recording had hit a point where folks believe it may be finished — albums go back to the studio all the time after this point, and for a million different reasons.” In other words, don't get too excited about a new Kendrick album dropping soon just yet.

Lamar is scheduled to headline this year's WOO HAH! music festival alongside A$AP Ferg, Aitch, Ares, Ashafar, Cho, DaBaby, EarthGang, Gotu Jim, Ho9909, Lil Keed, Lil Tecca, Mensa, Rimon, Santi, Ski Mask The Slump God, Tiffany Calver, and Zwangere Guy.
