The impact the 20th century's last decade has had on popular and aesthetic culture still continues to be felt. But if ever there were two brands to distill that decade's impact down to a core look, it'd be KICKZ and the heritage basketball label, Champion.

For FW18, the two have come together for a capsule to celebrate 25 years of KICKZ and its "Never Not Ballin'" approach to athletic and streetwear, born in 1993. The result is an on-point capsule that honors inner city bball culture that's bang on with the gritty, no-nonsense looks you'd recognize in the ephemera of the era. And, to drive home the message, the two scored none other than Brooklyn's Omar Epps to front the campaign and model the threads.

A true New York bball icon, Epps came to prominence alongside Tupac Shakur in Juice as well as the must-see cult classic bball flick Love and Basketball. The two films have made the man one of the most respected OGs out there. Another reason why this capsule collection makes sense.

Meanwhile, Champion flex their own on a collection that speaks to the US label's heritage as the basketball outfitter of record. The official supplier to the NBA, Champion's signature pieces (think those Dream Team jerseys, baggy Laker shorts, and New York Knicks jackets) were the ones that took court style from the professionals onto the streets.

Peep the official editorial from the two and Epps, above, before copping your 'fit below.
