Klarna's 'Smoooth Raffle' is now open. Highsnobiety has curated five of the last decades most sought after sneakers and you can win them today by simply heading over to Klarna's raffle page and letting their never-before-seen entry mechanic measure your passion for sneakers.

If you slept on them the first time around the sneakers up for grabs are the Sean Wotherspoon x Nike 1/97 (2017), Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1 Chicago (2017), Adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 750 OG (2015), Daniel Arsham x Adidas Futurecraft 4D (2018) and the Acronym x Nike Presto Mid (2016).

The 'Smoooth Raffle' features an entry system that uses the latest pulse BPM technology to measure the heartbeats of entrants, making it near impossible for sneaker bots to enter, giving only die-hard sneakerheads the chance to get their hands on this fine list of silhouettes.

Once you are on the raffle website entering is easy, firstly you must put your finger on the camera lens of your phone or laptop, once in place light will shine through your finger and hit the lens, as your heart is pumping more blood is transported to your finger in pulses and with each beat, less light will shine through your finger to hit the lens. The variations in light are captured through the camera feed and this is how the mechanism determines the pace of your heartbeat. Canceling out bots is done by checking for larger variations in the data to determine if it is a real heartbeat the lens is measuring. After a few seconds, your pulse is measured, and as long as your not a T-800 you are entered into the raffle for a chance to win one of the most hyped sneakers of the decade.

From Tuesday, July 7, Klarna will also be hosting a Sneaker Deal Week, where exclusive discounts and deals of up to 90% off can be acquired at heartbeats4sneakers.com using the same heartbeat technology as the raffle, determining how much discount you get based on your passion for sneakers.
