This Fall Lanvin Deflates Its Curb Sneakers
This year skater culture is getting stronger, and we aren’t complaining. Remember those chunky DC-like sneakers you used to wear back in 2010? Well, the silhouette is making a comeback. Lanvin has been leading the way in the sneaker DC-ification since 2021 with its popular Curb Sneakers. However, the French fashion house dropped the Lanvin Lite Curb Sneaker to prove that lightweight kicks are an undefeatable king.
Lightweight sneakers have proved time and again that they’ll always stick around. The good thing about these sleek silhouettes is that you can wear them with just about anything, just about anywhere. Lanvin might be famed for its luxurious skater sneakers, but they’ve been crafting refined kicks for a while now. Take, for example, hidden gems like its DBB1 Sneakers or its marathon-inspired Bumper Sneakers.
The Lanvin Lite Curb Sneakers are composed of suede uppers and a two-tone rubber outsole. In comparison with the chunky Lanvin Curb Sneakers, these keep it very minimal by just displaying the French house’s logo on both sides of its panels. The designer plaque is added at the back in the same beige tone. Lanvin adds its signature multicolored laces to the equation as a contrast to this sneaker's toned-down silhouette.
As we bid farewell to the last days of summer, we welcome fall with open arms. The Lanvin Lite Curb Sneakers come in beige and a black tone, to suit all of your autumnal needs. Offset coppery tones with neutrals, and welcome the new season with a new pair of lightweight kicks. Who said you have to join the beefy sneaker movement?
