LEGO

LEGO is continuing its partnership with Nintendo. After previously revealing multiple Super Mario sets, now the toy company debuts its Nintendo Entertainment System.

Designed to mimic the original Nintendo console, the NES, the 2,646-piece set allows you to build the console, controller, Game Pak cartridge, and a retro TV. An opening slot even lets you insert the cartridge and lock it in place, while the controller comes with a connecting cable and plug.

Once the TV set is built, you can use the flat 8-bit Mario figure on the scrolling screen, while an action brick gives Mario reactions to on-screen enemies, obstacles, and power-ups, just like in the real Super Mario game.
