After recently recreating Disneyland's iconic train station, LEGO once again sets its sights on the world of Star Wars. Today we get a look at the company's 4,784-piece Imperial Star Destroyer set that is due to release in a matter of weeks.

Part of the Ultimate Collector Series, LEGO's Star Destroyer model mimics the starship from the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope. The set includes swiveling guns, a tilting radar dish, enlarged engine exhausts, and a scale version of the Rebels' Tantive IV starship. Additionally, the Imperial Star Destroyer package comes with Imperial Officer and Imperial Crew Member minifigures, as well as a display stand with an informational fact plaque.

LEGO VIP members will be able to purchase the new Star Wars set, which spans 43 inches in length, beginning September 18, prior to the general release on October 1.
