New Balance Football
1 / 5

Liverpool and kit provider New Balance have released last a stunning tonal black version of this season’s home jersey.

The jersey comes in two shades of black. The torso contrasts with the shoulders and sleeves, while the New Balance logo, Liverpool badge, and Standard Chartered sponsor are iridescent. To celebrate the centenary of legendary manager Bob Paisley’s birth, a subtle pinstripe design — taken from Liverpool’s 1982/83 strip when Paisley still managed the club — has been worked into the look.

The stealthy design will not be worn on the pitch this season, arriving instead as an alternative for fashion-conscious fans.

Liverpool’s jersey deal has been in the news recently, with reports that a record-breaking kit manufacturing deal may be struck with Nike when its current one with New Balance runs out.

At time of writing, the blacked-out New Balance Liverpool FC jersey seems to be sold out on the club’s official site, though it is likely that the club will be restocking it over the course of the season.
