What We're Saying: As the warmer weather begins to creep in, footwear choices are becoming more brazen. But you don't need to tell Virgil twice. The designer just transformed his popular LV Trainer into summer-ready sandals.

The LV Trainer Mule is really just a fancy way of saying "expensive Birckenstock." The shoe takes key design elements of the popularly comfortable sandle and gives them a luxurious update.

Available in blue and silver, the mules feature adjustable straps constructed of suede or leather accented by metallic-tone engraved buckles, LV initials and Louis Vuitton embroidery. Each sandal is made in Italy and comes complete with an anatomic insole which is contrasted with a micro midsole and rubber outsole.

If you're looking forward to flaunting your toes in these, it'll set you back $1,010 (for the Blue) and $1,020 (for the Silver). But let's be honest post-vax summer 2021 is worth the splurge.
