Pharrell's Louis Vuitton workwear capsule, including the internet-shattering Louis Vuitton Timberland boots, has finally arrived. Easily the singular luxury fashion moment of 2024, Pharrell's Louis Vuitton workwear line is a landmark moment for the house.

And, as with most things Pharrell Louis Vuitton, that is the farthest thing from hyperbole.

Pharrell ignited the world of luxury — and nearly everyone outside it — by casually debuting Louis Vuitton's collaborative Timberland boots in January 2024, a brilliant conflagration of cultural nods and luxury cues.

At his Fall/Winter 2024 runway show, rich with Western imagery and cowboy codes, the Louis Vuitton x Timberland boots blended seamlessly with collection's artisanal workwear. It was impossible to tell where legend ended and history began.

But Louis Vuitton Timberland boots were still the star of the show.

This was, effectively, Pharrell's LV x Nike moment, and it came merely a year into his tenure. Really makes you wonder, what all could possibly come next?

Louis Vuitton's workwear capsule will be available for prelaunch on Louis Vuitton's website and app come July 18 before officially releasing to select flagship stores on August 8. Expect prices to sit in typical LV range: that is to say, around $3,000 for the Timbs.

It's meaty, comprising all that aforementioned apparel: hardy chore coats, dusters, double-knee pants, and Western shirts, embroidered, embellished, studded and sumptuously cut from overdyed earth-toned LV monogram jacquard.

It is wearable, it is wonderful, it is a tangible reflection of Pharrell's recent Western fascination.

It is also accompanied by the Keepall 50 Toolbox, an indulgent iteration of Louis Vuitton's inimitable Boston-style bag.

This version is cut from undyed natural leather, riveted and cargo-pocketed to reiterate the functional bent. To really bring the way-out-west vision to life, stuff the capsule's LV-branded cigarette case and flask into tough new Keepall's external stash pockets.

And Louis Vuitton's FW24 workwear collection, of course, includes those border-bridging Timberland boots, offered in several seminal varieties.

There is Louis Vuitton's riff on timeless Timberland 6" boot, fabricated in LV's Fiesso d’Artico footwear atelier of Italian nubuck, dappled with gilded eyelets, and stamped with the LV monogram. This is the one with which Pharrell secured his place in the history books.

It's joined by the Louis Vuitton by Timberland LV Boot, which blows up the original 6" boot's silhouette by 15 percent and thus reaches similar XXXL scale to Pharrell's favored puffy trainers.

This is offered in several variants ranging from a tall harness-style pull-on to a strappy ranger to a more classic ankle boot, all fitted with chunky lug outsoles.

But for the most ardent Pharrell devotees, there is only the "Louis Vuitton x Timberland LV 6-Inch Exceptional Edition."

This outrageously exclusive shoe is exclusively available in an edition of 50 and wears a custom-made "interpretation" of the conventional lug sole, a Pharrell-specific motif on the tongue ("The sun is shining on us," which he said at his debut show in 2023), and 18k gold hardware throughout.

Louis Vuitton's self-described "masterpiece in shoemaking" will come packaged inside leather and plexiglass shoeboxes, seen in all their drool-worthiness on the FW24 runway.

For true believers, there can be no alternative. Expect to see new house ambassador Pusha T wearing aa personal pair shortly.
