Lupita Nyong’o to Star in Jordan Peele’s 'Get Out' Follow-Up ‘Us’
As expected, 35-year-old Kenyan-Mexican actress Lupita Nyong’o will star in Jordan Peele's much-anticipated Get Out follow-up, Us. Nyong’o took to Instagram earlier today, seemingly to confirm the rumors, which had been circulating since Peele announced the picture last week.
Us, "a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award-winner Jordan Peele," is due in theaters in March of next year. For now, plot details have yet to be disclosed, but we do know that Peele will write and direct the horror project. Elisabeth Moss and Black Panther’s Winston Duke have also been rumored to feature in the film.
Most recently, Lupita Nyong’o starred in Marvel's smash hit, Black Panther. She also previously won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years a Slave.
