Inside Maserati’s New Nocturnal Supercar, The MC20 Notte
In 2020 Maserati unveiled its thrilling mid-engined fast-forward MC2O (an acronym for Maserati Corse 2020). Now Maserati’s cutting-edge high-performance sports car gets another makeover, giving rise to the MC20 Notte Edition – a nocturnal beast that’s turning the heads of automotive fans around the world.
The Maserati Fuoriserie team collaborated with former GTI world champion, Andrea Bertolini, to create the MC20 Notte’s bodywork. David Beckham, the Trident brand’s global ambassador, joined the celebration of the launch in a short film, where we see the supercar cruising through the streets of Milan straight onto a racetrack, of course. Beckham and a Maserati, it’s a little match made in heaven.
Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati design.Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customisation program is conceived to create one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures for our clients. MC20 Notte celebrates the thrill of racing and the allure of the night combining supreme performance and Italian elegance with a touch of mystery of the nocturnal world. It is the first Fuoriserie limited edition of MC20 and it is dedicated to super sportscar collectors and track enthusiasts.
It’s an unspoken rule, but ‘Made in Italy’ brands always come in style. MC20 Notte’s aerodynamic design is a feast for the eyes with a glossy black and magnetic matte ‘nero essenza’ hue. Once the butterfly wing doors open, you’ll find sport seats in Alcantara black/gray with yellow stitching and accented gold on the Trident. Under the hood, the MC20 Notte packs a punch with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine, showcasing Maserati’s relentless pursuit of sporty high-performance. This engine ensures a remarkable power-to-weight ratio, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just over two seconds, the hallmark of any true supercar.
MC20 Notte Edition represents a significant leap forward in Maserati’s history, setting new benchmarks in the supercar segment.
