From Salone to Sunnei, All The Collabs We're Dropping For Milan Design Week
Milan Design Week has been the epicenter of international design for over a half-century, bringing together designers, architects, and creatives to showcase their most pioneering works. Originally incepted as a way to showcase the best of Italian design, the annual event has since evolved into a melting pot of innovation and this time around Highsnobiety is joining the festivities with online coverage, events, and exclusive merch.
The celebrations begin with the launch of our second Bar Basso collaboration, complete with negroni sbagliato-themed clothing, followed by a cafe and in-store pop-up at Bar 2000 (located at One Block Down) running from April 19-21. For those tuning in online, expect daily editorial updates along with commemorative merch and collaborations at the Highsnobiety Shop.
Keep posted to take a trip with us to the world’s largest design stage and browse all the products that we're releasing below, available from April 19.
Bar Basso
Since we're in Milan, it's only right that we link up with old friends at Bar Basso. Along with being credited for creating the Negroni Sbagliato, the Milanese bar has been embedded in the fashion and design world for several decades and regularly catered to guests like Alessandro Michele and the late Virgil Abloh.
Our latest capsule collection includes a wide array of garments ranging from hoodies to tank tops and also includes practical accessories like ashtrays, corkscrews, and even an apron to fully submerge yourself in our co-branded experience.
Salone del Mobile
More than just a home for the latest in furniture, Salone del Mobile attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and is widely considered a global benchmark for research and innovation. Whether it’s playing host to Leonardo’s Vision or giant luminous tents courtesy of Hermès, it is the event to visit during Milan Design Week.
We teamed up with the hosts of the legendary event to craft a co-branded collection dedicated to years of immersive experiences.
Sunnei
Established in 2015 as a menswear brand, Sunnei has grown to become one of Italy’s leading multifaceted labels, offering patrons a wide range of products spanning from full men's and womenswear collections to utilitarian objects for people of all ages.
With exclusive colorways made especially for Highsnobiety, we're releasing a curated assortment of plates crafted from hand-picked terracotta, vibrant Murano glassware, and a candle made from orange wax modeled after the Torre Velasca skyscraper — a building that helped herald Italy’s first wave of modern architecture.
LAMY
LAMY, the German lifestyle brand that has been championing the writing industry for over seven decades, is accompanying us on our latest flagship. Following the Bauhaus principle of “form follows function,” the brand’s clear design language has granted it countless awards throughout the years.
Our collaboration pays homage to the brand’s enduring ingenuity. The limited edition pens arrive in the classic fountain format with a window to see when ink is running low and an expandable ballpoint, giving design enthusiasts the best of both worlds.
Moleskine
Founded in 1997, Moleskine has become a global pioneer for its innovative paper products. The Milanese brand is widely recognized for its durable notebooks that embed luxury and practicality into long-lasting accessories.
Our selection of co-branded notebooks arrive with custom Milano branding and can be purchased at our pop-up at Cafe 2000 or online at the Highsnobiety Shop.
Highsnobiety
Finally, no flagship is complete without accompanying merch, so in tandem with the rest of the events and brands at this year's celebration in Milan, we'll also be releasing a small capsule complete with a graphic tee and hoodie.
The graphic wares pay homage to the world’s biggest annual design event through its chest and back prints.
