Baseball fans in the US are gearing up to head across the pond for a historic clash as Major League Baseball brings one of America’s favorite pastimes to Europe for the first time ever. Featuring one of the biggest rivalries in baseball history, the MLB London Series 2019 will host the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees on June 29 & 30 in a two-game series for the record books.

To celebrate this momentous match-up, MLB is bringing the experience off the field with ‘London Yards’—a three-day baseball festival coinciding with the series, which will be held at Truman Brewery from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30. The free-to-attend event will serve as the primary battleground during the series for fans to experience the best of baseball while immersing Londoners in the iconic American sport. It'll also be the best way to catch both games as they'll be streamed live for those who don't have ballpark tickets to soak up the action without missing an inning.

London Yards will also debut a new virtual reality Home Run Derby experience complete with an illuminated batting cage and real-time results tracking. It's a batting cage like no other as you face off against the pitching machine, while live music acts and DJs spinning throughout the day make it the perfect spot to learn about the sport as you take part in American history.

Gorge on mouth-watering street food collaborations from Capish?, Jake’s Vegan Steaks, Claw, and Randy’s Wings as they’ll be serving up dishes inspired by the culinary heritage of Boston, New York, and classic stadium snacks. You’ll also want to make sure to grab a beer because MLB is collaborating with Battersea brewery Mondo on a one-off London Series brew.

While pre-registration tickets for MLB London Yards are now booked, plenty of general admission tickets across all time slots will be available at the door. Visit MLB.com/LondonSeries for more info.
