Maison Margiela MM6's Year of the Snake Collection Slithers Into Style
As 2024 is coming to a close, the Chinese New Year is quickly approaching.
MM6 Maison Margiela released its upcoming Year of the Snake collection, complete with hoodies, tees, pants, jewelry, and bags. All of the pieces from the capsule feature the same color scheme of red, white, and black.
Each of the pieces from the MM6 Maison Margiela collection all feature the same graphic, too. The brand's iconic numerical logo is placed over a red snake, nodding directly to the Chinese zodiac being celebrated this coming year.
It worked out well for MM6, considering the brand's name aligns with the number coordesponding to the snake in the Chinese Zodiac.
The Maison Margiela output tends to keep things fresh and exciting between its in-house collections like the Year of the Snake capsule, plus its many collaborations.
The brand recently teamed up with Salomon to give its trail sneaker a girly Mary Jane spin.
They also collaborated with Dr. Martens on a collection of hybrid two-for-one shoes.
