Chi-Town is known for many things: the birthplace of house music, where Barack and Michelle Obama started their careers, and deep-dish pizza, just to name a few. From music to politics to food, the city’s influence on culture is far-reaching, and its sports scene is no exception. Some of the world’s most hardcore sports fans reside in Chicago, and it’s that energy that inspired Modelo and RSVP Gallery to team up on their Fighting Spirit Chicago capsule collection.

As the number one beer in the city, Modelo joined forces with RSVP Gallery, the conceptual retail space founded by Don C and Virgil Abloh, to drop a collection featuring five pieces that pay homage to various sports: a football hoodie, long-sleeve hockey shirt, basketball shorts, a baseball hat, and a duffel bag.

“The idea behind this collection was to fuse the functionality of sportswear with elevated streetwear for Chicago,” said Dawn Apang, Managing Director at RSVP Gallery. “The experience gives Chicago fans an opportunity to embrace their hometown favorites through a limited-edition capsule collection.”

The collection launched on November 19th with a panel discussion featuring various Chicago athletes (check it out here). Be sure to scroll through the photos above and watch the video for a closer look at the Modelo and RSVP Gallery Fighting Spirit Chicago capsule collection.
