Editor’s Notes: Finally, a really good New Balance collaboration with women in mind.

Copenhagen-based retailer Naked has teamed up with New Balance to take on two new silhouettes, the 1080 and the 725.

As one of the leading destinations for women's footwear and sneakers, Naked has become a go-to for all the best collaborations. The label has partnered with adidas, ASICS, Reebok, and Vans in the past, and has cemented itself as a core part of the streetwear community.

This year, New Balance has seen plenty of successful collaborations ranging from JJJJound, KITH, and Aimé Leon Dore, to Casablanca and Stone Island – but they've all been very male-oriented, and nearly impossible to cop in smaller sizes. It is refreshing to see NB put effort into a more female-oriented, inclusive collaboration.

The Naked x New Balance 725 arrives in a cream color accented by hues of blue "UV Glow" throughout the upper. The retro-inspired silhouette has become increasingly popular, and the color palette feels vintage yet timeless.

As for the 1080, the shoe features the same off-white "Cloud Cream" upper but with a more monochrome approach, featuring detailing in "Sea Salt." The shoe sports a stretchy knitted upper and a thicker rubber sole, making it the perfect companion for long runs and walks. With this silhouette, comfort is the number one priority.

The collaboration is dubbed the "Community" pack, as a nod to Naked's commitment to "telling the story of diverse individuals who exemplify a fearless approach to creativity. In the same vein, New Balance has always stood for something bigger than sneakers, championing those driven by their passions."

The collaboration will launch exclusively at Naked on December 9, retailing at €135 and €200 respectively. On December 16th, the 1080 will also receive a global launch, where it will be available to purchase at New Balance retailers.
