Although it’s only been a few days since Marni and Carhartt WIP’s first-ever collaboration was released, it’s already making waves.

Italian luxury house Marni has been enjoying a strong (and busy) few years, making fans of everyone from Chief Keef to Jonah Hill as it catches our eye with eccentric fluffy experimentations and 60s nostalgia. Meanwhile, the influence of Carhartt’s WIP imprint almost goes without saying. Along with cementing its presence in the skate scene through collabs with the Quartersnacks and local shops like Civilist, its trusted logo is widely associated with quality and durability.

So, when the two brands team up for a collection that builds on each other's strengths — Marni’s knack for lively designs and color blocking paired with Carhartt WIP’s heritage silhouettes — it was always bound to be a winning combination. The end result is an ode to workwear with an Italian flare, and a few NBA players have taken notice.

While the sport has not always been the most stylish, things are beginning to change in the NBA and a few of our favorite sartorial stars from the league have recently proved it by sporting fashion's latest big collaboration.

First off, we have none other than the NBA’s tunnel fit king PJ Tucker. The NBA vet is well-known for locking down defenders and being a reliable role player with a solid three-point shooting percentage. And, aside from his game, he’s no stranger to fly 'fits — as has been shown in his previous bouts wearing Marni. We have a good feeling this isn’t the last time we’ll see the NBA champ styled this effortlessly.

Arguably the most stylish person in the league, Ben Simmons joined Tucker in giving workwear its flowers with this jacket.

During last season we became more acquainted with Simmons' style due to him sitting out for injuries and dressing like he’s attending a runway show. This season, along with increasing his on-court performance and contributing to the Nets' recent 12-game win streak, he's continued to show out with some of the strongest tunnel 'fits there's been.

And lastly, one of the best big men in the NBA today, Karl-Anthony Towns opts for matching color-blocked trousers and coat paired with the now-grailed Off-White x Nike Jordan 1s. Though KAT flies under the radar at times, he's been pulling out all stops since injuring his tailbone earlier last month. The look works flawlessly, and that's not an easy feat when you're seven feet tall.

Having only officially dropped earlier this week at retailers such as the Highsnobiety Shop, we expect to see a lot more than just these three players styling some Marni x Carhartt WIP in the not-so-distant future.
