Netflix this week announces that it is giving American animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender a live-action adaption. The show originally aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008.

You can get a glimpse at what to expect from the reimagining via the concept imagery by John Staub. Netflix also disclosed that the original Avatar: The Last Airbender creators, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, are working on the adaptation.
