Editor’s Notes: Images of the New Balance X-Racer have surfaced online, suggesting this all-new silhouette will be the next to join the brand’s X-Series, which includes the X-90 from late last year. The X-Racer looks to be a stripped down lifestyle sneaker that features subtle nods to ’90s performance footwear, most notably in its shape, the midsole, and the overlays on its upper.

German retailer Asphaltgold has the New Balance X-Racer down for a July 2019 release. There are currently four launch colorways loaded on Asphaltgold, while Japanese site Houyhnhnm features a preview of two further colorways.
