Editor’s Notes: Nike's Adapt BB goes Back to the Future with a very familiar colorway, pulling from Marty McFly’s Nike Mag with a wolf grey upper, translucent blue outsole, and white detailing.

This isn’t the first time Nike has added one of its most grail-worthy colorways to a different silhouette. In 2015, the Beaverton camp dropped the “Marty McFly” Hyperdunk, which became one of the model's most coveted colorways, commanding a hefty resale price.

The Mag, of course, first featured in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II and introduced the concept of self-lacing sneakers. In recent years, Nike finally realized that technology (in a way), putting it on HyperAdapt, Air Mag, and the Adapt BB.

As well as self-lacing E.A.R.L. (Electro Adaptive Reactive Lacing) technology, the Adapt BB features a low-top, slip-on design. The "Air Mag" version will be the third colorway to drop, with more believed to be on their way.
