Nike's Air Force 1 Low shoe has a new look called the "Liquid Metal Swoosh." However, in my humble opinion, the sneakers should be called the "Venom Forces."

As its name implies, the newest Nike Air Force 1 "Liquid Metal Swoosh" features a molten-like metal Swoosh detail that gives off major Venom character vibes.

It's unknown if Marvel's alien symbiote inspired the design. But the sneakers look very fitting for the so-called "Sinister Spider-Man" known for its slimey back appearance.

The Nikes are even more Venom-appropriate, considering the character played by Tom Hardy is now somewhat of a sneakerhead with coveted Off-White™ x Jordan 5 sneakers in rotation. Where were these Forces during Hardy's Venom: The Last Dance press run?!

Anywho, the Nike Forces aren't the first Nikes to step onto Marvel's villain side (although there's a debate around whether Venom is a villain or hero). Nike's Clogposite slip-on appeared in the iconic "Green Goblin" colorway, nicknamed after the Spider-Man villain. At the same time, Nike even brought back the Green Goblin's Flightposites, the model that starred in the movie.

A silver version of the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Liquid Metal Swoosh" dropped back in 2023, featuring — you guessed it — a shiny, distorted silver Swoosh. As for the new black-Swoosh pairs, they're expected to launch during the spring.
