Caution: Nike's Newest Air Force 1 Is a Slicked-Up "Safety Orange" Stunner
We don't often get patent leather Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. But when Nike does decide to shine up its most classic sneaker, the brand blesses the streets with pairs like the once-super-exclusive Playstation Forces and even these new "Safety Orange" versions.
Indeed, Nike recently dropped a Nike Air Force 1 '07 LV8 sneaker in a gorgeous "Safety Orange" colorway, balancing the citrusy color and crisp white contrasts. Underneath the stunning paint job, Nike's sneaker boasts an equally tasteful construction featuring sleek patent leather and smooth classic leather.
It's almost like those vintage-style "Sunset" Forces gone slick and lustrous.
Moreover, Nike has thrown in some new rope-style shoelaces for the latest Nike Air Force 1s, topped with a gleaming "AF1" charm (just a little more shine for the already-bright shoe).
The rest of the shoe is pretty much the classic Air Force 1, loved by the sneaker community since the '80s. Indeed, fans can count on the effortless basketball silhouette, complete with its thick Air soles and perforated toe box.
Nike's "Safety Orange" patent leather Air Forces are now up for grabs on the brand's website, alongside a "Psychic Blue" colorway. Both pairs currently are going for a smooth $120.
But wait, more patent leather Nike goodness awaits down the road. According to sneaker leakers, Lil Yachty's patent Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration will get a wider release this year after debuting at Coachella 2024 as a supposedly limited edition shoe.
2025 is already off to a beautiful start with Nike's wonderfully slicked-up Air Force 1s.
