Editor’s Notes: After leaks and teasers late last year, Nike has officially confirmed the Bred-inspired “Pine Green” Air Jordan 1, which drops later this week. This is the second Air Jordan 1 to utilize pine green, the first, which dropped in September 2018, flipped the popular “Bred Toe” color blocking scheme.

Whereas 2018 and 2019 have pushed the envelope in terms of original AJ1 colorways, often straying as far away from OG color blocking as possible (such as this “First Class” iteration), 2020 seems to be a move back to more conservative, OG-inspired colorways.
