The 15 Best Products to Drop This Week & Where to Buy Them
After another seven days, we return with the highlights from Highsnobiety’s shopping channel, carefully put together by our very own commerce content curator, Nigel Minani. After trawling through countless online stores, Nigel is here to give you a much-needed dose of retail therapy with a selection of the latest and best in streetwear, sneakers, fashion, and lifestyle products. For more of the most up-to-date shopping news, be sure to hit the button below.
As has become a common theme as of late, this week’s selection of killer products rocketed into more luxurious realms, and boiled over with looks at some of the season’s best sneaker releases. With UNDERCOVER’s Astronaut Coat having done wonders to steal the spotlight this time around, our selection went on to feature products from Raf Simons’ Calvin Klein, banging Salomon runners, pieces from the Heron Preston x NASA collaboration, and must-have collectibles such as Carhartt’s ever-popular Laundry Cart.
So, without further ado, we'll let Nigel take it away, giving you a brief, piece-for-piece rundown of this week’s killer selection. And be sure to let us know in the comments if you plan to cop any of the items below.
UNDERCOVER Astronaut Coat
“Jun Takahashi is in beast-mode right here. The 2001: A Space Odyssey collection is the best movie-reference clothing range out there at the moment. We've highlighted the Astronaut Puffer Jacket in earlier 15 Drops posts, so this time it's the Astronaut Coat. These pieces are pricey, but they're on instant grail level, and will probably go down in history as some of UNDERCOVER's greatest pieces ever.”
Missoni Corduroy Coach Jacket
“Coach jackets haven't been overly popular lately (just like 5-panel caps), but Missoni managed to put their personal twist on the somewhat outdated silhouette, and actually make it appealing again. Corduroy ftw!”
Schott NYC x Caliroots Nebraska Puffer Jacket
“Fall/Winter is going to be loud in terms of patterns, and it's never too early to invest in the right puffer jacket. While a retro Nuptse sets you back $400, this collaborative piece from Schott NYC and Caliroots is half the price, but with the same level of performance.”
Bananatime Cashmere Hoodie
“Bananatime, a small label from Amsterdam that focuses on quality fabrics and beautiful patterns, recently released its latest collection, and part of it is this amazing 100% cashmere hoodie that redefines the highest possible level of cozy. Trust me, once this thing touches your skin, you'll never want anything else.”
Used Future Blessed Hoodie
“One of my favorite Korean brands is back with its FW18 offering. Hoodie weather has just begun, so treat yourself to a new friend that will keep you cozy and stylish in the upcoming months.”
Calvin Klein Fireman Jumpsuit
“I've heard a lot of different opinions about Raf's designs for Calvin Klein, and while I agree with both sides to a certain extent, when I see pieces like this, there's only one opinion: FIRE! Worn by style god A$AP Rocky during his "Lab Rat" performance, this fireman jumpsuit will definitely be one of the pieces that we'll still talk about in ten years.”
Golf Wang “Free Food” T-Shirt
“Tyler's Golf Wang released its latest collection at the beginning of the month, and while most of the stuff sold out, there's still gold to be found within the pieces that are left. Better cop quick before it's all gone though!”
Nike Air Jordan 5 PSG
“The Jordan 5 is one of my favorite silhouettes from Tinker's Jordan roster, so I'm always excited to see them in a special colorway. This one was made in collaboration with PSG, and despite not being a football fan myself, the custom detailing underneath the net and over the heel, make these a 100% must-cop for anyone into Jordan 5s.”
Salomon S/LAB XT-6 Softground ADV
“Salomon's S/Lab just released this Ferrari of a sneaker. From color to function, the Softground trail-running sneaker is on the forefront of the ugly/dad sneaker trend that's still going on, and probably won't go away for a minute. Money here is well invested as the shoe features a water-repellent upper, a quick-lace system and, advanced cushioning.”
Nike Air Max 97/BW
“Nike has been putting out a lot of hybrids lately which is really dope if you ask me. First introduced with the second Skepta SkAir sneaker, this "Silver/Concord" version of the Air Max 97/BW is definitely the better colorway. These only dropped in the EU so far, so get yourself a proxy if you can't wait, but I'm sure they'll drop in the US very soon.”
Nike WMNS Air Max plus TN
“The Nike TN, a.k.a. Sharks, are back in the strongest colorway we've seen in a while. Patterns will be huge this upcoming season, and this pair is definitely worth considering. They're a women's colorway, but can easily be rocked by the male members of the cult, provided they go up to your size.”
Heron Preston NASA Backpack
“One of my favorite pieces from the Heron Preston x NASA collection. This modular backpack features a detachable waist bag, which turns the design into a tote bag if removed, essentially giving every inch of the bag multiple purposes - this backpack is just like the ISS. Well done Heron!”
Call Me 917 Big Sister Skateboard Deck
“Alex Olson is back with the latest Call Me 917 collection. Gotta appreciate a 'nice' graphic.”
Medicom Toy UNDERCOVER GILAPPLE Clock
“UNDERCOVER's iconic GILAPPLE Clock is back in black. For me, this product represents the perfect mix of grown-up style with just the right amount of self-irony. A must-cop for every Medicom Toy afficionado.”
Carhartt WIP x Steele Laundry Cart
“Carhartt WIP stays true to their workwear history with this Steele laundry cart. A no-brainer that can easily turn into a collectible, especially given the fact you don't come by these every day.”
As always, much of this product is limited, so if you miss out this time, be quicker and tune into next week's roundup for a selection of more hot products.
