Los Angeles-based artist Blue the Great was already putting his artistic talent to use in his teens, hand painting his friend's sneakers in high school. Years on, and the Kendrick Lamar-affiliated artist now has his very own Nike collab sneaker. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Fearless "Blue the Great", which channels the LA native's passion for primary colors, got a limited release on November 9, but you can still cop your pair at StockX.

Part of the "Fearless Ones" Jordan collection by Nike, this new sneaker makes use of luxe suede in a combination of green, blue, yellow, red, and white, with each hue accentuating the next. Blue the Great, whose resume includes Kendrick Lamar stage set design, opts for a black Swoosh to finish off the color-blocked canvas.

This artistic take on the AJ1 follows last month's "Shattered Backboard" colorway, which also formed part of the "Fearless Ones" collection, and was inspired by Michael Jordan's speech at his Basketball Hall of Fame inauguration. Ranging from High to low silhouettes, other new sneakers in the collection include the patent leather Air Jordan 1 “Fearless” and the upcoming Low React "Ghetto Gastro."
