Nike’s Air Max Boot Was Made for the Trails
Who said Air Max's signature bounce was exclusive to sneakers? The Nike Air Max Goadome Premium is a trail-ready boot with that famously buoyant Air Max sole.
Now, Nike has been making substantial strides in the trail and hiking space for a hot little minute. Nike's UltraFly and Terrascout boot are two examples of Nike's capacity for creating stylish trail footwear that doesn't comprise functionality — it leans into it.
But the Nike Air Max Goadome Premium exists on another plane of rakish sophistication.
The pebbled leather upper is accented with metal hardware and the sole has that sweet Air Max bounce.
It's an edgy stepper with the cadence of a full-blown Timberland boot and the comfort capabilities of a classic Air Max sneaker.
First released in 2000 as a part of Nike's Air Max Goadome (ACG) line, this shoe occupies an interesting place in the footwear zeitgeist.
Nestled comfortably betwixt functionality and unwavering charm, the Nike Air Max Goadome is the latest shoe to bring comfort to the forefront, even if the results are a little unorthodox.
And the Goadome is far from the only footwear option forging this delightfully practical path.
Vibram's toe shoes, designer snow boots, snazzy trail sneakers — the fashionability of all of these shoes stems from their functionality, which is pretty cool considering how much I see the opposite.

So, while, yes, impractical shoes are still doing their big one, (often literally) practical shoes like the Air Max Goadome are picking up major stylistic traction (pun intended) in the fashion world.
