Anfernee Hardaway — better known by his on-court nickname “Penny” — was thrust back into the spotlight after being featured in an episode of ESPN and Netflix’s docu-series, The Last Dance. According to various reports, it looks like Nike could be bringing back one of the former NBA star’s signature models, the Air Penny 3.

Penny Hardaway’s signature shoe line is considered by many to be one of the best (outside of Michael Jordan’s, of course. MJ even wore one of Penny’s signature sneakers in the 1995 NBA Playoffs).

The Nike Air Penny 3 debuted in 1997 and was brought back as recently as 2009 (pictured above). Now supports suggest that the blue and white, Foamposite-equipped basketball shoe is making a comeback.

Stay tuned for updates.
