Brand: Nike

Model: Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 “Track Red” and “Smoke Grey”

Key Features: The model’s defining feature is its exposed Max Air bag at the heel, which is encased in a cage — where the silhouette’s name comes from. Additionally, the upper features big hole mesh, which is a hallmark of ’00s running sneakers and is on the way to making a big comeback.

Release Date: April 13

Price: $140

Buy: END. Launches and other select retailers

Editor’s Notes: After the Stüssy x Nike collaboration from last week helped re-introduce the Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 to today’s generation of sneakerheads, Nike is prepping to drop two general release versions of the same model. Whereas Stüssy dressed its collaborative sneakers in a black and silver and a beige hemp colorway, Nike has gone with the classic red/white/silver color combination on one pair and a grey and silver color scheme on the other.

With ’00s runners back in style due to the cyclical nature of fashion, we’re predicting this is only the start when it comes to general release versions of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2.
