In Mocha Flavors, Nike's Wild Clog Hybrid Looks Insanely Delicious
The wild Nike Clogposite is coming in hot (chocolate) for the new year, dropping in its most delicious colorway yet known as "Ironstone."
The "Ironstone" Clogposite sees the model drenched in these scrumptious brown shades, almost like the model took a dip in Willy Wonka's river of creamy melted chocolate.
Really, the newest Clogposite could pass as another "Mocha" shoe. It wears a similar brown to Nike's other coffee-flavored sneakers like Travis Scott's coveted Jordan collabs and those tastefully basic "Mocha" Dunks.
But regardless of what you call them, the new Nike Clogposites are a treat for the feet, for sure.
Nike's "Ironstone" Clogposite is joined by a "Light Army" version, a colorway similar to those stunning khaki-colored Nike Air Force 1 Lows that recently dropped. Expect both Clogposites to drop sometime this year for $140 at Nike.
The Nike Clogposite may not have been the coolest kid at the Nike lunch table in the early 2000s. After all, it was an unusual fusion of the Flightposite and Foamposite presented in slip-on form. But today, the underdog sneaker-clog is on track to being Nike's next biggest slip-on.
We can thank the ongoing mule movement, or "mule-ment," for the resurrected model's success, with the Clogposite trending alongside other sought-after slip-ons like Birkenstocks and Crocs. But it also probably helps that Nike keeps the Clogposite looking incredibly good with classic in-line colorways and collaborative spins.
Out the gate, the resurrected Clogposite got a collaboration with hyped streetwear behemoth Supreme, resulting in a swift sellout of the co-branded mules. At the same time, Nike has bestowed the model with extremely aughts-coded colorways nodding to its origins. The sportswear giant has even dropped renditions inspired by an infamous Marvel supervillain.
With these new monochromatic pairs stepping in, the Nike Clogposite continues to slide its way to the top of the mule game.
