Club América, one of the most decorated clubs in Central American football, has just unveiled its third kit for the current season and the Highsnobiety offices have collectively decided that we’re all Club América fans now.

The kit, which is produced by Nike, is black and white and features an all-over print inspired by the Warrior Eagle. The Warrior Eagle is one of two leading military special forces orders in Aztec culture and where Club América gets its nickname, Las Aguilas (the eagles).

Detailed eagle motifs cover the entire kit, save for the shirt sponsors on the front and on the sleeves of the kit. Even the club’s badge is incorporated into the Aztec motifs.

The resulting look is an extremely eye-catching one and — if you ask us — way too pretty to get dirty on the football pitch. If you’re looking for an early contender for 2021’s jersey of the year, Nike and Club América must certainly be in the running.

In addition to the jersey, Nike and the club have combined on a range of off-pitch apparel, which you can shop below (UK only). The jersey is now available in certain countries.
