Nike is rumored to be bringing back the “Black/Varsity Maize” Dunk High for the 2020 holiday season. The colorway — featuring a black leather base and yellow overlays — was originally released in 2012. It is part of an iconic Dunk linage that includes the original 1985 University of Iowa Dunk High from the BTTYS pack and the highly-coveted “Wu-Tang” collaboration from 1999.

In 2012, a version of the 1985 OG was released featuring a blacked-out midsole and a tumbled leather finish. This year’s Dunk High is expected to have a similar color scheme.

Take a look at 2012’s version in the gallery above and stay tuned for further information regarding this rumored release.
