Editor's Notes: Sneaker fatigue – ever felt it? I feel like we've all been there, feeling like the industry is pumping out more of the same; collaborations on the same handful of silhouettes, palette switches, and rereleases of the same colorways every season. It doesn't matter how much you love sneakers or love the game; it has a habit of drying up every now and again.
If you're burnt out from New Balance 990s, Nike Air Force 1s, or whichever model is your go-to Air Jordan silhouette, Nike's ISPA division may well be exactly what you need.
If you're as of yet unacquainted with ISPA, its name is a philosophy, meaning improvise, scavenge, protect, adapt.
Over the past year or so, the division has delivered some of Nike's most striking designs, so much so that adidas' biggest seller, Ye, has shown it genuine love.
Basically, if you dip into ISPA, one thing you're guaranteed, is that you'll never get bored. These aren't your run-of-the-mill styles, are largely incomparable to anything else on the market – and this is certainly true of the Sense Flyknit.
Much like several other designs in the ISPA line-up, these are probably best described as a sock runners. As the name state, Flyknit has been used to create the upper, which sits atop an exaggerated rubber sole, which also fastens the ISPA branded strap in place.
Design aside, what makes this such a captivating pair is its "Enigma Stone" colorway. Whether you think it looks like a potted plant, tree, or rock formation, what I can tell you, is that it's brown, green, and gum. Fun!
