Editor’s Notes: Just days after officially unveiling Paul George's new signature sneaker, the PG 4, Nike is back debuting another colorway of the hoops shoe, this time in collaboration with Gatorade. The project follows Jordan Brand's foray with the sports beverage company centering around the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 6.

George's "Gatorade" PG 4 is dressed in purple with complementary hits of lime green. The aforementioned Gatorade logo on the tongue then matches the orange laces accordingly. Throughout the zippered shroud of the sneaker you will see what appears to be condensation across the upper. The PG 4 is also branded with a large Nike Swoosh on the side, extending to the heel.

The Nike PG 4 is noticeably different from previous PG signature sneakers. The standout design element of the new shoe is the zippered shell crafted from two types of mesh. The silhouette also incorporates a full-length Air unit replacing the forefoot Zoom from past PG signatures. Additionally, the Gatorade iteration uses a GX Sweat Patch to provide the wearer with personalized sports nutrition recommendations that will help fuel performance.

Paul George is scheduled to debut the PG 4 "Gatorade" on court January 10, as a release will follow on January 17.
