This Plain White Skate Shoe Is Secretly Super Exclusive
Nike’s skateboard-focused SB division has countless variations of its Dunk model available to shop. And for good reason, the old-school basketball sneaker almost single-handedly built Nike’s status in the skate scene and has been a favorite of sneakerheads for years.
Normally, the more simple Nike SB Dunks end up on discount rails while the big-name collabs with OTT colorways are snatched up in minutes and fetch big numbers on resale sites (although, the Nike Dunk saturation has meant the latter case is becoming rarer).
The Nike Orange Label Dunk Low Pro SB 'Triple White', however, doesn’t follow this aforementioned logic.
On the surface a plain white Nike SB Dunk, the only notable decoration on the sneaker is an orange-colored swoosh on the tongue and insole.
There's no going wrong with a classic all-white colorway (of course) but it's far from being groundbreaking; so you’d be forgiven for thinking this is a general-release pair of sneakers that will be widely available to buy — instead, it's a special limited-edition release that's difficult to track down.
The shoe is part of Nike’s Orange Label, a line dedicated to giving back to the skate shops that have supported it (and the skate community at large) through limited-edition releases only available at those local stores.
The range offers classic skate models, such as the Bruin, Blazer, and Dunk, decking them out in Nike’s best materials.
For these all-white Nike SB Dunks, the shoes have quietly launched in-store at local skate shops such as Black Sheep in North Carolina and Southside Skatepark in Texas, retailing for $115. They are also available online at Tactics, however, sizes are quickly selling out.
Sneaker bots aren’t going to offer much help if you want to cop these limited-edition, premium Dunks from Nike's skateboard division. The best bet is going old-school and calling up your local skate shop.
