Off-White™ & AC Milan’s Logo-Heavy Jersey Has a Devilish Side
Off-White™’s involvement in designing AC Milan’s new kit is difficult to miss: Practically every square inch of the new jersey has an Off-White™ logo of some kind. Even AC Milan’s famous club crest isn’t safe from the brand’s tinkering.
As is becoming increasingly common with football teams, this is AC Milan’s fourth kit for the 2024-25 season, going beyond the traditional trio of kits football teams release.
It is a limited-edition collaboration between fashion label Off-White™, PUMA, and AC Milan, arriving over halfway through the Serie A season (the Milanese side has played 23 of its 38 Serie A games this season).
The jersey in question has a black base fading into green at the bottom and has Off-White™'s signature arrows logo repeatedly printed all over. On the ends of the collar and sleeves emerges AC Milan’s signature red color.
Various sponsors, all printed in yellow, cover the front of the jersey and both sleeves while AC Milan’s club crest, printed in tonal black, is layered over by the word Diovoli (Italian for devil and AC Milan’s nickname) with Off-White™’s signature speech marks.
While Off-White™ and AC Milan have collaborated before on pre-match uniforms, this is their first time creating an on-field jersey. Alongside a red and green goalkeeper jersey, it will be available from retailer END. on February 14.
At a time when many teams are opting for more minimal kit designs — whether that be without a sponsor, entirely monochrome, or with more subtle iridescent prints — AC Milan’s fourth kit bucks the trend. This kit is a loud, logo-heavy, busy design.
The boldness Off-White™ and AC Milan’s almost makes it reminiscent of the many wild football kits of the ‘90s.
