Stadium Goods
1 / 4

A sample pair of Virgil Abloh’s highly sought-after Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” was briefly available to buy on Stadium Goods. The pair, a size 12, differs from the retail pair that was ultimately released last year.

This sample swaps the light blue sole unit for a black midsole with white “AIR” branding near the heel. Additionally, the formerly blue stitching around the metallic silver Swoosh is now black, as is the tag that was orange on the retail version. Finally, a second set of laces are superimposed on the traditional lacing system, as seen previously on  Abloh’s Nike Running collection and his Nike Dunks, that were released late last year.

Abloh himself wore a pair of this blue/black Air Force 1 ahead of his Paris Fashion Week runway show in 2020, though they’re highly unlikely to be released to the public. Still, because they were listed on Stadium Goods, we are able to get our best look yet at the sample version. Check it out above.
