Takashi Murakami, Ronnie Fieg & Other Insiders Share Their Thoughts on OFF-WHITE FW19
All eyes are on Paris as Fashion Week takes over the French capital. Head to our Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019 hub to find all the latest news from the industry’s best houses, brands, and designers.
After OFF-WHITE debuted its FW19 collection at Paris Fashion Week yesterday, we linked up with some of the industry figures in attendance to get their thoughts on Virgil Abloh's latest offering. Watch above.
Standing outside the Louvre, artist Takashi Murakami shared his love for a yellow, spray-painted GORE-TEX jacket, which you can peep here, as did KITH's Ronnie Fieg, who also praised Abloh for his ability to be "in every single place at the same time."
Everyone we spoke to seemed to agree that the FW19 collection was a level up from the last, with everyone from DJ Kerwin Frost to PLEASURES' Alex James commenting on the show's cultural significance and giving shout-outs to pieces such as the massive jacket worn by Offset and the use of NFL helmets.
Now, check out what Skepta, Playboi Carti, Takashi Murakami, and more wore to OFF-WHITE's Paris FW19 Show.
