We Went Shopping for Omega x Swatch at Resale & Here's What We Found
We’re used to seeing queues around the block and stores closing early due to overcrowding in the world of sneakers and streetwear, but it’s certainly unprecedented in the world of luxury watches. That was, until Omega announced that it would be rolling out an 11-part collaboration with Swatch. The Omega x Swatch BIOCERAMIC MoonSwatch collection landed on March 26, 2022 in stores and, as expected, sold out everywhere. Then, a year later, the Omega x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold landed and, no surprises, sold out.
With a retail price of just $260, Omega x Swatch gave watch lovers and rookies alike the chance to put the legendary Omega Speedmaster Chronograph on their wrist for a fraction of the usual $6350 price tag.
For the majority of us, picking up a $260 Omega wasn't possible so we defaulted to the next best thing: copping an Omega x Swatch timepiece at resale. It didn’t take long before we were scouring the net for the best deals.
