Double Tap to Zoom

In what can be viewed as a sibling to the underwear-gone-outerwear movement, pajamacore has emerged as yet another playful demonstration of fashion infiltrating – dare I say, yassifying – the banal. A sleepwear trend that isn't one, and has nothing to do with going to bed – even if forefront-brands like Tekla insist it does.

After combing through Browns, it dawned on us all the more just how much desirability can be conveyed through pieces so clearly, so deliberately inspired by something you at one point probably considered a so-so Christmas gift from that relative you have not much to do with otherwise.

If nothing else, one thing's for sure though: We'll take any excuse to wear our PJs to work.

Pajamacore Awakened a Sleepwear Trend That Isn't One

Martine Rose Shirt

This silkily glistening button down offers an almost camp perspective on pajamacore. All it misses is feathered cuffs or hems, and we'd find ourselves transported to a Miami mansion in the 80s.

In-keeping with both colorscheme and aeathetic moodboard of the above, Casablanca's signature flamboyance and love for two-pieces predestines the label to score big on pajamacore.

Our Legacy's done well to slide into the lineup of not just this pseudo sleepwear trend, but has also become an insider favorite amongst styleheads that've grown tired of mainstream luxury.

Burberry's slacks keep their balance on the fine line that separates elegant comfort from loungy: They're as easy to slip and have on as pajama pants, but their pleats disguise them as something more formal.

Unsurprisingly, stripes are a beloved, often-returned-to print when it comes to referencing sleepwear – especially in a sexy, slinky silk material.

Footwear's not immune to pajamacore's encroach, and so slippers like these are a must if you're trying to channel this sleepwear trend to completion.
