Palace
1 / 13

Brand: Palace

Season: SS21

Key Pieces: Palace's light-wash denim gets an artistic elevation via some of visual artist & skater Mike Gigliotti's mischievous illustrations.

Release Date: March 19 for US, UK (online only), and WeChat in China, and March 20 (online and in-store) in Japan.

Buy: Palace Skateboards and Lotties.

Editor’s Notes: Following some esoteric drops with The North Face Purple Label and Arc'teryx, Palace has returned to its roots as a de facto skating brand. The new collection celebrates skate culture and the communities behind it, in particular, that of cult LA skate shop Lottie, opened by artist and skater Mike Gigliotti 5 years ago.

The collection features Gigilotti’s cute and occasionally perturbed hand-drawn illustrations across zip-up jackets, denim, button-up short sleeve shirts, hoodies, short and long sleeve tees, airtex basketball vests, caps, and denim bucket hats. The collection's  distinctly LA flavor is offset with some British sentiments such as "FARE THEE WELL," "LONDON TOWN, "IT'S A FINE LIFE!", and poignantly, "IT'S PALACE YOU DICKHEAD.”
